WA Cares was never meant to be for long-term, long term care. 90% of people needing long term care die before the 90 waiting period expires for their commercial long term care insurance to even start covering. WA Cares covers from day 1, bridging that gap, and potentially saving family members tens of thousands of $$.

It was NEVER meant to replace long term planning.

Say what you will, but no insurance is perfect. But what's worse is that many play games (e.g. the 90 day waiting period) hoping you'll die before they have to pay anything.

It's all about priorities. Any privately owned company CEO worth his or her salt that has a genuine concern regarding the company's business model, its future, and an understanding of what is required to maintain same moving forward would not allow his or her personal political agenda to supercede the before mentioned. Mike Lindell violated that in a big way and that cost him dearly. I don't personally feel sorry for Lindell, he should have known better. I do feel sorry for his employees, many of whom have lost their jobs due to Lindell's public political shenanigans. My Pillow could likely have continued to thrive and even grow with better thought and actions by the CEO. I doubt it can or will recover from its current plightall factors considered, anything is possible however.
